About me
I am a consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist specialising in helping patients with atrial fibrillation and other heart rhythm problems.
I work closely with my patients, aiming to understand their health improvement goals and then work with them to improve their overall health and quality of life.

I provide a full range of services aiming to identify and treat all types of heart problems, including consultations, investigations and treatments. I can also advise regarding overall health improvement and wellbeing.
Specialist ablation treatments
I have extensive experience in all forms of ablation procedures, having performed thousands of ablations throughout my career.
I am also one of the most experienced specialists in the world in the use of laser balloon ablation for atrial fibrillation, and am a recognised trainer in this field having instructed consultants from all over the world.
Training and NHS practice
Outside interests
I am married and a father to two boys. I am a keen triathlete having represented Team GB at age group level and have completed more than 10 Ironman triathlons.
